Previously a lot of teams were using tags to add notes to events, but now you can now add short notes directly to your events that will display on the schedule.
Just enter a note when creating or updating an event. If there is a link to a website in your note, enclose it in brackets.
The note then displays on your website under the event and the link will be clickable.

Team, league, and organization websites now include a schedule page for each location. When clicking on the location name from your schedule, you will be taken to the map for the location (if there is a map) with the option to view the location schedule.
If the location doesn’t have a map, you will be taken right to the schedule.
Hopefully this will help with rescheduling and determining what games and events are at which location. Thanks to Chad from the Mid-Ohio Baseball Association for the suggestion! Previously for leagues and organizations you could specify which team an event was for but you couldn’t control if the event would display on the master schedule, the team’s schedule, or both. Now you can.
For any event for a league or organization you have a few new options.
You can specify whether the event appears on the master schedule, the team schedule, or both. If you check organization/league schedule the event will display on the master schedule. If you check team schedule the event will display on team schedules.
For organizations, in addition to specifying which schedule the event will appear on you can now also create “league-wide” events where the event will display on all of the teams that are in a league.
In the example above, the event will display on the team schedule for all teams in the CMCBL league.
For a lot of online registrations it makes sense to display them on your schedule along with all of your other events. You want your golf fundraiser, bowling night, etc. there.
However, for online registration only events, it has never made sense for them to be listed on the schedule. Your online registration period may have a start and end date but it doesn’t actually need to be listed on the schedule as an event.
Now you can have it both ways. For online registration only events you don’t have to display them on your schedule. Online registration for physical events that have an event date can still be listed on the schedule.
Specifying whether to display an online registration on the schedule or not is easy, just check the Don’t display the online registration on the schedule and it won’t display. Don’t check the box and it will.
Online registrations that don’t display on the schedule will still display on your online registrations page as well as in the current online registrations widget.
Hopefully this is something teams, leagues, and organizations will find useful. If you have questions, suggestions, or comments about Atomic Leagues, we would love to hear them! Please post a comment below or let us know through the support form.
Based on feedback from some of our leagues, we have changed the schedule page within the admin in a few different ways to make it even easier to use.
The first is that for teams, leagues, and organizations, past events are now hidden by default. No more scrolling through lots of old results to get to the game you want to score.
You can easily view past events by checking the box to show past events if you do need to view a game or event that has already taken place.
For leagues and organizations you can now also filter the schedule by team to reduce the number of events on the page. Just select the team you want to filter the schedule by and you will only see events and games for that team.
Hopefully this helps make it easier for you to maintain your schedule. If you have questions or comments we would love to hear them! Please post a comment below or let us know through the support form.
Without a doubt over the last few years the most frequently asked question from Atomic Leagues users was “How do I use the Add Games Quickly page?” Well, everyone can now breathe a sigh of relief because we were listening and are happy to announce that the old Add Games Quickly page has been completely destroyed, never to return. Hooray!
In its place, starting today, is a brand new Import Schedule page that we hope will make importing your schedule much more intuitive and friendly. If you have your schedule in Excel or are able to save it as a CSV file it should only take a few minor adjustments to import into your website.
You can import both events and games in a single file and your columns can be in any order. After uploading your file you will be able to preview it and make any corrections before actually performing the import.
Simply choose a CSV schedule file to import.

Click the Import button and that’s it!
Hopefully this makes it easier for everyone to import their schedule. Thanks goes out to the entire Atomic Leagues community for their feedback on the old Add Games Quickly page and everyone can rest easy tonight, that page is gone forever!
For those using Google Calendar to import their team, league, or organization schedule there was a minor bug with the timezone that was causing some games and events to be imported with the wrong time. This has now been fixed.
